OK, so I know it's very self-indulgent and predictable of me to dedicate a page to my cats, but hey, they are cute! We have two cats, both girlies, called Pavlov and Schrodinger. Pavlov was so named after my husband and I were quite taken by the notion that Pavlov's (the scientist, not my cat) work may have turned out very differently had he carried out his experiments with cats - anyone who has heard Eddie Izzard's take on this will know what I'm talking about! Schrodinger, of course, was named after another scientist dude who was well up on quantum physics, and had this theory illustrated by a cat in a box - Schrodinger's cat.
